Throughout my four years in High School, I played competitive football. Football was a physically demanding sport that required our team to practice six days a week. Every year, our team embarked on a new weightlifting and dieting program that demanded physical perfection. It was crucial to not only be in perfect shape to avoid injury, but also use the appropriate gear that allowed all of us to do our job. While aesthetics were a big concern for most players, the true athletes spent their time focusing on customer reviews and ratings in order to figure out which pair of cleats or chinstrap would suit their needs best.
Every season, my teammates and I would flip through catalogs, read blogs, and talk about the hottest cleats and other football apparel. It was essential that all of us who started not only looked good but also felt comfortable performing in the gear we wore. It was very common amongst all of us to use Eastbay.com. The company provided the hottest football equipment at reasonable prices with great customer service and shipping.
My Sophomore year I purchased a pair of cleats from Eastbay.com that did not fit. I had an upcoming game and wanted to make sure they were broken in prior to game day. Lucky, I was able to send them back and receive a new pair from Eastbay.com that fit. I was impressed with their service and ever since I have been a loyal customer. The cleats I purchased from Eastbay always fit comfortably and looked great.
It was very common for me to use online offers and rebates in order to receive a discount at Eastbay. The offers I use/d can be found here. I enjoy purchasing from Eastbay.com and I tend to catch myself wishing that brown box would arrive sooner. With great products, prices, and customer service, they have proven to be the most competitive force in the online sporting apparel industry. I strongly recommend Eastbay to any athlete that strives to be more than just another player.
Having moved to Chicago a few months ago for a new job, I had yet to find a doctor, dentist, and eye doctor. It was not needed as my last visit was only 6 months ago and I feel fine. The other day though I ran into a sticky situation which I thought would be a big issue… I ran out of contacts lenses.
I called my eye doctor but the office was closed for the week as he was on vacation. They had an emergency line for another doctor on call, but I did not care to bother with that. After complaining to my mom, she told me I should try 1800 contacts. At that point, I’d try anything.
The rep on the phone only needed my prescription and was able to overnight a box of lenses. Because of the awesome savings I found online and the purchase size, I was able to really save some money.
Online is just so much easier don’t you think?
I had 10 buddies of mine come out here for a bachelor party Labor Day weekend. It was a blast. Unlike most bachelor parties, they came to San Francisco for a relaxing weekend. Don’t get me wrong we drank like fish, but it was a relaxing weekend in all.
My buddy who was to be married wanted to go see a college football game on the west coast. We got opening game tickets to the CAL v. Michigan State game. At that time, no one had much hope for CAL, but boy did they surprise everyone. Anyways, I only have a 5 seater and was told only 5 were coming out here originally. I knew we’d be able to squeeze an extra passenger into the back of my car with no problem. Then 10 were slated to come….
A car is not required in San Fran, but when you want to go to the beach in Marin it is required. Living in North Beach, which is walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, there are a ton of car rental locations. After searching for the best rate, we decided to go with Enterprise since it had the vehicle size we were looking for. The Enterprise coupon I found online brought our cost down which was a nice break in the day, as I knew dinner that night would put a hole in my wallet.
I really enjoyed the weekend as everyone got along, we all caught up since it had been about a year since all of us were last together. Now, just have to prepare for the wedding next month…
